Hired a rude, incompetent, and extremely unprofessional lady to manage the Braeside Apt Complex. She never fixes problems w/o a huge fight, puts things off for months, insensitively laughs at/ makes light of your problems, harasses/ threatens tenants, and lies a lot to get tenants off her back. Also hired rude, disrespectful, creepy, unprofessional, and incompetent maintenance men to work Braeside. They give you sob stories and excuses so that they don't have to fix major problems, quickly put bandages on little problems and often make problems worse by not fixing them properly. Their lack of interest/ respect causes them to damage personal belongings and NOTHING will be done about it! Braeside is an old crumbling, poorly maintained structure. The staff do their best to make it look ok superficially, but beneath the surface, there is a serious mold, spider, and bat problem. Water is often shut off because of serious leaks. People have gotten extremely sick b/c of the mold/awful air quality. If you complain enough about the terrible conditions, they will release you from your lease and force you to move in 30days...but then, they WILL punish you. They will not pay for your moving costs even though it's their fault & they forced you to move out. They also will not give you back your security deposit. Instead, they will claim that a lot is damaged in the apt and they will want you to pay them as punishment. $1700 for 81 sq ft of carpeting even though the carpeting was very stained when we first moved in? However, if you don't pay, they will threaten to destroy your credit, get your employer to pay, take you to court, and force you to pay their legal fees. UNFAIR BULLIES!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
