The first time I went to Grooves was a Saturday night. The live band was great and it wasn't too crowded. I thought the drinks were overpriced but they were good. The DJ that took over later that night was the bomb! He played a mixture of current music and old school rap and slow jams. My friends and I had a great time! We decided to go back on a Friday on the suggestion of one of the waitresses for the drink specials. We were told to get there early. We arrived at 7:30 and it was PACKED! We ended up having to get a table and ""forced"" to order from the very limited high priced menu. Whatever! Our waiter... couldn't be found the entire night but had the nerve to get mad whenever we went to the bar to order drinks. The DJ was the bomb! I danced so much I had to ice my knees the next day. But I would rather go on a Saturday where it's not so crowded.
