I had to put down my cat the other day. It saddens me to read that there are people out there that have nothing better to do than to rewrite the same review over and over again, changing their reviews just enough so that it looks like multiple people had done them. My cat adored Dr. Schwartz, as do I. He would start purring the minute Dr. Schwartz walked into the exam room. And no, it was not Dr. Schwartz's fault that he had to be put down, he was just old. He no longer could stand on his own and his appetite was no longer there. I called the clinic when I felt it was time, I believe it was Courtney that answered, she was so sympathetic and I actually felt a warmth knowing that she would be there. She told me to come down when I was ready. It was a hard way to start the year, euthanizing my baby, but it had to be done. Dr. Schwartz is one of the most caring and professional Veterinarians I have come across. I trusted him with my pet and I always highly recommend him to my friends. I usually don't leave reviews, but after web surfing and reading the reviews I knew i had to stick up for a clinic I love. I do believe that you should pick a doctor that you most feel comfortable with. (maybe one that spends more time practicing medicine than bad mouthing others) But when I do adopt another cat it will be from the shelter, not one from a rescue organization ( I suggest you do your research into "rescue" organizations, you'll be surprised) and I will take that cat back to Boulevard Pet Clinic, where once again Dr. Schwartz will be my Veterinarian. Much Love Dr. Schwartz.
Pros: The girls at the front desk and Dr. Schwartz!
Cons: A little high in pricing and parking can be difficult sometimes on the weekend, but I'll be back.
