I took my toy poodle to Pampered Pets on Platt Street on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. We told Dana that we wanted a lamb cut. Dana told us that that the dog was matted, and that there would be an extra fee. That was fine and understandable.
Rather than doing her job, Dana chose to ignore our request for a lamb cut and she shaved the dog all the way down on the legs and body. In 10 years, my dog has never looked so ridiculous. I could have shaved the dog myself the way Dana did. To add insult to injury, Dana charged $65 for the cut.
I complained to the owner, who refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing or even attempt to satisfy my complaint. She blamed everything on me. I love and take care of my dog, and I also bathe and brush her myself. I have brushed my dog in the condition she was in on Wednesday, many times. It just takes a little love and patience. Not only did Pampered Pets on Platt street lack these attributes, they also lacked professionalism.
Pampered Pets on Platt Street are NOT professional groomers. They are money-hungry, shortcut-takers who do not take pride in their work and who do not care about quality. DO NOT GO TO PAMPERED PETS! I wished I would have never did the Goole search that led to them. Only time can heal the damage they did.
