I walked into Jackie Spratt's cakes looking for something for a 50th birthday party. I wasn't familiar with the shop before entering. The lady that worked there (I'm assuming it's the owner) was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. After letting her know how many people would be attending, I was hoping to receive a sample of her work and an accommodating personality. Instead, I was told right off the bat that ""we don't do 'themey' stuff."" Before letting me get a word in edgewise, the lady brushed me off with a tirade about how she prides herself on her product, yadda yadda, which ultimately ended in ""if you have never tasted my cakes, you clearly would not understand."" I was literally being pushed out the door!\r

How am I supposed to have tasted your product if I stumbled upon the store window-shopping? You make CAKES, lady. Get real. It's a shame for Jackie Spratt that she will never know who she would have been doing business with.
