A year ago I was into pilates and running. But when stress still seemed a routine part of daily life my sister encouraged me to try yoga. Skeptically I did. And I've never looked back. I found Rising Hearts a great place to start yoga because you begin with the basics and work your way into the more difficult moves. I never felt like I was going to get injured but I also never felt bored. The workout is great for toning, has improved my flexibility tremendously and the meditational aspects are great for stress. After a year the classes are still challenging and I actually look forward to being there. No more dragging myself on the treadmill!
