In searching out new places for sushi, we decided to check out Tyfoon after reading good things. The decor is nice, but rather uncomfortable for the amount of time it takes to get a sushi dinner to your table on a busy Saturday night. We had reservations and were seated promptly for an 830 reservation. Ordered one type of Saki - they were out. Ordered an appetizer - they were out. Ordered another appetizer - out - asked waitress for appetizers they had on hand. (All appetizers attempted were normal menu items.)\r

Sushi took 45 minutes to come to table. During this time, we had long-finished appetizer and Saki, and grew uncomfortable in the chairs. Waitress apologized a few times, but it did appear that this is standard practice. Nothing blew us away when we got our sushi and the bill was certainly a lot for the slow service and 86s experienced that night. \r

Oh - the noise and din is better suited to a nightclub.
Pros: Seated promptly with reservation.
Cons: Many items not available at 830 PM, Long wait for Sushi
