I lived around the corner from Il Corrallo for 15 years or so, and have eaten here many times (maybe 20?). I never had any problems with the staff, although this is definitely the sort of place where you eat, pay the bill, and leave. (Cheap places like this need to turn over the tables to make a profit, so I could see the staff getting huffy if a table wanted to linger and chat.) This place is a solid option for a quick, inexpensive pasta meal. The pasta is really quite good.
Pros: good, inexpensive pasta dishes
Cons: no frills, high-turnover kind of restaurant
