I just moved to Long Island from NYC and was skeptical about changing hair salons. Lauren Levelle beauty salon is literally a hidden gem with it's discreet location and appointment only guideline. They have the best colorist and greatest stylists. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted for color and the colorist took over and made me look fantastic, more so than expensive salons I've been going to for years in NYC. The haircut was fantastic. It completely corrected a previous issue and also looked mod and cool. Pricing is consistent for the services you receive, but it's literally got a speak easy atmosphere where the name and # of the place are discreetly passed along by their faithful following and white draped front store. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fantastic NYC services and expertise without the schlep!
Pros: Fantastic & honest stylists and colorists. Friendly staff.
Cons: They hardly answer the phone, so it's hard to get an appointment.
