I purchased a groupon deal and was so excited to try this salon. Small salon located in grenvale, great reviews but my experience was anything but. My colorist, Loretta was so rude. I had paid for a full head of highlites but she suggested I only do half, so whatever I lost out on that. She didn't talk once to me during the process, thought that was so weird considering I was a new client and was def looking for a new place to get my hair done. after I had my half head of highlites, she basically wrnt over my hair with the blower. Didn't ask how I wanted it to be dried. After my hair was dried, she didn't even ask if I liked the color. She was absolutely rude and I felt like she was annoyed I had a groupon unless she was just having a bad day? I don't know, but what I do know is that I will never ever return. Wish I never spent the $69 in the first place because there are other salons on Long Island offering deals. Overall, very upsetting. My color wasn't even amazing. The tones of blonde I wanted didn't come out the way I normally get them. I normally get a toner after my color. She didn't do any of that just basically sped me out. Called owner thr following day, she was nice and said she could have another colorist fix my color. I turned down the offer. I will not step back in there. So upset.
