Can you criticize service if you didn't really have any? I recently walked into Lompac on Williams. There were probably no more than 15 patrons in the restaurant. I'd been there once before and had so-so service, but decent food. This time we sat there for 20 minutes, right by the bar, and not a single employee so much as smiled at us. The bartender, a completely disinterested woman in her late 20's, was far too busy text messaging to look up and see that we were becomingly increasingly agitated. Finally, we all just got up and walked out without saying so much as a word. Another server walked behind the bar and both of them watched our party walk right out the front door. Not to worry though, because the bartender went right back to text messaging. There are places I'm willing to try a few times to give them a fair shake. This isn't one of them. My friends and I are lost customers to Lompac and the 5Q.
Pros: Decent food, good beers and wines, reasonable pricing
Cons: Good luck experiencing the 'pros' if nobody ever comes to your table.
