Our dog has been going to Angell for his routine medical care for over 12 years. While it is the major animal hospital in the area with many specialties, we find the service there increasingly poor in quality. With the opening of the new clinic, the cost went up dramatically (almost double) while the care we receive is the same if not worse, since now we have to talk to the assistant first before our pet will be seen by the doctor. This practice lengthens the waiting time and increases the anxiety of the patient, which does not help his/her care at all. The time it might save for the doctor is quite questionable, as the doctors appear to have the same time slots for their appointments.
