After making two separate visit to Angell Memorial Hospital, I would say the place is mediocre. My first visit was in August of 2006 when my cat who was almost 15 had thrown up three times in a week and her regular vet was on vacation. I was told that she was dehydrated and would need injections of subcutaneous fluids daily. I was unable to do this, so I was told a technician would come daily to do this for me. However, it would cost $10 per day. I phoned the technician, but she never called back at a time when I could be reached. When my cat's vet returned from vacation, he took a look at her and said she would stay hydrated enough with just free access to water. She fought for another year and continued to bite the vet when he came. They had a unique relationship! A year later, my cat developed tumor and I had to put her to sleep.
