The ambiance is amazing, and the service is what you should expect from this modern upscale restaurant. I am a chef and went to one of the top rated culinary schools in the country, in fact Chef Puck has an honorary doctorate from the school and I worked for him while going. I guess that is why I suggested CUT to my wife and the couple we went to Vegas with. I mean its Chef Puck one of the greatest chefs in the world. When I walked in I was amazed, this restaurant was spectacular and very trendy I was sure we were in for a BIG, BIG TREAT. When the waiter handed me the menu I was lost in culinary fusion. I mean in such a fine restaurant what do you order, everything looked wonderful. From the appetizers to the desert I was in culinary heaven. Once we ordered and after my water glass had been filled a hundred times. Are appetizers came Kobe Steak Sashimi, and Maryland Blue Crab & Maine Lobster both very simple but very good, totally worth the money. Then the main course I was so excited I could not wait for the award winning steak. I ordered the $60.00 6oz. Filet Mignon cooked very rare, I told the waiter he didn?t even have it cook. When I cut into the steak it was cooked medium-well if not well, the steaks lovers dream was over, there was no rejoicing. Funny thing was the rest of my party felt the same way, everything was overcooked. To be honest the cuts at Costco are CHOICE (SORRY!!!) meat and a million times better then what we were eating. The best thing about the meal was seeing Nigel Lythgoe the producer of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. If you want a good meal in the town of sin I would suggest skipping the CUT it?s not worth the money. But don?t skip Chef Puck all together. Postrios this is one of the best meals we had during are stay at more than half the price. I think this restaurant rates within the top 5 of my best meals of all time. The appetizers were awesome and the Lobster Club is amazing.
Pros: Service is awesome
Cons: Over cooked steaks and some might say to salty
