Just came back from Sofrito restaurant.. and can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed my time here with my friends. The place was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and the food???? how would i describe it???? It tastes as your favorite food from the childhood with the restaurant's touch. The portions are huge. Just amazing. The wait for a table was a bit long, but worth of waiting. Don't blame them. I came with a group of 5 people, at 7:00 PM on a Friday night. Many families were there before me, so you just have to be patient. We didn't care to wait, because they have the nicest bar in NYC. Good job Sofrito!! I am not Puerto-Rican, but I surly enjoyed the Latino atmosphere.
