When I was searching around online for a place to get my fourth tattoo, I narrowed down to this and Inkstop. To tell you the truth, I chose Red Rocket because the commute was easier because I live in Queens, and I had to take only the F train, as opposed to switching for Inkstop. Haha.

I walked in on a Thursday afternoon, and the place was busy. I didn't know which artist to work with, although I had an idea of what I wanted. So after talking to one of the tattoo artists, he suggested Erik. I talked to him about exactly what I wanted and set up an appointment for the next day. I absolutely loved the drawing he made, and the tattoo came out awesome!! It was much better than anything I could've thought up. It is definitely my favorite tattoo by far. =]

The price was $300 for a custom pin-up girl on the shoulder, and I would say that's a reasonable price.
Pros: Very easy to get to via public transportation, all the artists had awesome portfolios
Cons: The customer service aspect was disorganized/near-nonexistent
