I made my first (but certainly not last) visit to the Creole Cafe on a Friday evening. My dinner companion and I ordered the filet medallions. They were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Our dinner came with mashed sweet potatoes and a fabulous dish called mauk choux. The choice of desserts was extensive and our choices, bananas foster and a turtle cheesecake, were excellent. I definitely will go back often.\r
