I'd recommend Nick's to everybody (and have done so in the past). We've moved to Katy in 2002 from California and I've never had better food before or after moving here.\r
Being native German I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like, and Nick hits the nail on it's head every time. Service is usually great, very attentive to our children (who know how to behave in public, especially at nice restaurants), too.\r
Nick has only been nice to us and we always feel welcome whenever we decide to take a little road trip out there.\r
The Prices are comparable to Hasta La Pasta or Carraba's, although Nick's can't really be compared with either of those chains.
Pros: Finally real Italian Food!!!
Cons: A bit tucked away in the sticks - the restaurant feels more like a trainstation waiting hall than a cozy restaurant, but the staff and food are well worth it
