I have lived in LA five years and have driven all around town trying to find a good haircut. I've had some bad ones, one really bad one that even the stylist agreed I shouldn't pay for (!), and mostly a lot of overpriced but rushed stylists who don't take time to listen or take the time it takes to cut my thick hair right.\r
This all changed yesterday! I went to see Melinda at Chrome and was so pleased with the results! She actually listened, gave me good advice, offered to ease me into some proposed changes, and then meticulously cut my hair, layer by layer, spending nearly 90 min with me (just wet/cut!) I'm thrilled with the results and plan to go back and recommend her widely! She was great to be around too, she really made an effort to relate to me (both hair woes and life-wise) so it was a pleasant conversation. I felt like she explained what she was doing every step of the way, and recommended products only when I asked but never pushed (in fact, she suggested going w/ a travel size of one I was still unsure on!)\r
I would recommend her in a heartbeat--and the salon itself is a great space with a relaxed vibe. Thank you Melinda & Chrome!!
