We have been to many of the Irish pubs in St. Paul and Minneapolis, but this year we were looking for someplace closer to our home to celebrate St. Patricks day. We were pleasantly surprised to find O Mally's, a non-chain, family-owned restaurant. This is somewhat rare in Woodbury, which is dominated by large chains. The place had a good crowd with a great mix of people, and we had no problem getting drinks and appetizers despite the amount of people. The staff was friendly and the pub atmosphere great (though perhaps not ""authentic"" - still gives that vibe). We'll definitely be back!
