This food at this place is really, really good. Certainly the best pub food I have ever had. Some items were simply the best ever. I have eaten everything on the menu at least twice. There are a broad variety of choices. Steak to pasta to clams to sandwiches to salads and fresh oysters, all are super. When you get done eating your way through the menu there are daily specials to try and a rotating choice of soup. The specials usually feature fresh fish of some kind, always excellent. I like to sit at the counter by the kitchen and watch the cooks, well, cook. When there is a lull one of the cooks will take your order and get it started. Wait staff help with the wine and beer. I am told a chef named Carlo is the genius behind the grub. There is a Sunday brunch featuring Eggs Benedict. That's the only item I found to be average. Lot?s of folks rave about them. To me they are just Eggs B, good but nothing special. Everything else? Well, I think you get the idea. I like this place. It does fill up quickly and many people go just for drinks, conversation and free cheese and crackers (for display only). Eat first, drink later, that?s my advice.
Pros: Food
Cons: Get's crowded early
