I cannot speak for the sales part of this dealership as we have not purchased a car here before. However, if our Town & Country EVER needs service again, you can bet I'll be going to Bosak (Merrillville) or Grieger's (Valpo).\r \r The man who calls himself the Service Manager (aka Kent) has zero customer service skills whatsoever. After supposedly fixing our steering (r&p), we experienced a check engine light several weeks later. Because of poor customer service at Rensselaer in the past, we took it to Bosak for the light. Turns out, the light was a result of a clamp that WAS NOT INSTALLED during the r&p at Rensselaer. Guess what - their lack of attention in fixing our van cost us an additional $95 at Bosak.\r \r Kent refused to take responsibility and refused to refund my $100 deductible - but he told us that had we brought it back to HIM for the light, he would have fixed it for no charge. Really? So then it *IS* his fault.\r \r I absolutely do not recommend this service department AT ALL. It is a rinky-dink center with maybe 3 stalls, a very rude woman working the counter/phones, and a poorly-trained mechanic who calls himself a service manager. Very disappointing - we have contacted the FTC and filed a complaint.\r \r IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE TO MERRILLVILLE OR VALPO FOR SERVICE - trust me! more
