A great find!  A charming atmosphere--laid back and cozily lit with much attention given to detail.  The staff was wonderful.  Our waitress answered all of our questions about Sardinian wines and recommended the perfect Cannonau to compliment our meals.  The calamari was perfectly breaded and firm; the mussels in white wine sauce were fabulous.  The wild boar with red wine sauce was fantastic.  The portions were a bit a small, so be sure to order an appetizer like we did.  And, by the way, the timing was perfect.  It was nice to go out in Manhattan on a Saturday night and not feel rushed.  Go to Cannonau soon before you can't get in!
