I'm not a big fan of Chinese food, but while at a doctor's appointment accross the street and because the clinic employees highly recommended it, I gave The Palace Chinese Restaurant a try. I mean, it looked nice from the outside and it has a nice size parking lot; a commodity that a lot of businesses cannot afford in Los Feliz (not even my doctor). Anyhow, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in by the immediate service. I loved their Chinese decor, from the walls to the dishes. It's definitely upscale, I thought hoping that the food would match the service. Portions were generous, but not huge that would take my appetite away just by looking at it. I mean, I was very hungry so I ordered some type of chicken dish similar to orange chicken. I tasted it and couldn't stop eating... IT WAS SOOO GOOD! I also ordered a shrimp dish recommended by my server. It has a light crisp and a creamy sauce, and ooooooh SOOOO DELICIOUS! I don't think I've ever eaten that much in one seating, but the food was so good I just couldn't stop eating. It was my very best Chinese food experience ever, hands down! And the price was so reasonable, too! I highly recommend you to try it. I know I'll be back for more very soon!
