Walk into the NEW Argonaut and prepare to be ignored. The guys that work the floor are nice enough, but tend to be clueless if you really need advice on a wine pick. I've been there several times over the holidays hoping maybe I was there on an off day, but what it comes down to is the management is extremely old school. There is usually the same middle-aged man sitting at the center of the store and if you are under 50 he wants nothing to do with you and will try to send you to a younger store clerk. The mid-aged guy needs the boot. He has ""old-timey liquor store"" written all over him. Until the Argonaut deals with management like this guy they won't push past ""the dusty old liquor store your drunk uncle likes to patronize"" image.
