I really have no idea what's going on, I feel like I am in the twilight zone! Well maybe not that dramatic, but what Obar are all these people talking about??? Bc I am having trouble believing it's that tiny little underground place on Main I know as Obar! I'm not defending the bar, I find the place a bit too hard to walk through/ get a drink anyway, but was so curious I had to ask! I live downtown and have been to Obar roughly 50 times over the past 3 years since moving to Dallas and I couldn't be more confused! Waiting in hours-long lines? Lists? Slipping money to bouncers? Did I accidentally link to the Ghostbar reviews somehow? And I don't even know what is going on with all of the racism stuff... I've never noticed anything other than a well mixed crowd. Who are the non-whites not getting in? Asian? Black? Hispanic? Again, I'm just curious at this point... bc the Obar all these people are talking about just.... doesn't exist? By the way, heard rumors Obar shut down? What happened with that? That was like... at least a month ago.
