This reviewer gives Straight to the Point 3/5 stars. I had a very mixed experience.\r

I came to Straight to the Point because I have a lot of friends who recommended it to me. On the possitive side, the shop was clean. Everything looked really sterile. A guy in white scrubs with ""apprentice"" across the back greeted me and was very nice and friendly while I waited. Next I met Nick my piercer. He seemed a little agitated and kind of upset, which made me a little uncomfortable, especially because he was about to pierce me. In the piercing room, he seemed to get more and more impatient with my many questions, but soon caught himself and began calling me pet names such as ""sweety"" to calm me down. Unfortunately, I do not take very kindly to complete strangers calling me pet names, so this only made me more nervous about getting pierced. I was glad when the piercing was finally over, and then I went to the counter to pay. The piercing was a lot more expensive then other shops I called told me it would be and I remember feeling like Nick had been unclear about pricing before I got my piercing done on purpose. \r

To be fair Nick could have been having an offday, which I think is true, considering all the other rave reviews on this site. I'm a possitive person and I like to focus on the possitive, so things I like about STTP include how clean the place was, the spray after care I was given, and the visual appeal of the shop. Despite my experience with the actual piercing process, my new piercing is healing really well and was clearly done by a professional. \r

Thanks to all at Straight to the Point. I'll come back for my next piercing to give the shop and its employees one more shot.\r
