Granted I am writing this the day before Halloween, but today I felt a little spooked when I went up on the porch of this house of antiques, and there were all kinds of handwritten signs on the door including "Ring the bell and then enter." I didn't, nor did I see any parked cars around. In past visits here, the trip from one packed with antiques room to another went along smoothly enough, but there was an underlying feeling of weirdness. I can't explain it. I'm sure there are some wonderful items here, but it just is not a "feel good" kind of place to spend much time in. I much prefer perusing the Gallery 37th at Abercorn which is right across the street. As I said, though, it is the day before Halloween.
