Most Extreme Case of Racism that I have ever experienced! 10/15/2008

This location in N. Chas. has terrible customer service. After asking to order some food, we were told that the kitchen ""might"" be open at 8pm. At 8:10pm, we again asked to order some food and we were told that the kitchen was not open and she was not cooking. I asked ""why?"" and the bartender, with a disgraced look on her face, said to me ""because I don't feel like it"". I felt outraged! I am a member of the US Air Force and have been for over 9years now. I decided to move back home (after experiencing bad hospitality in several other states) assuming that I would rather live in the South where there is more ""Southern Hospitality"". Sadly, I have been proven wrong! I'm defending our Country, making a safer place for us to live, including the disgruntled bartender....and this is the treatment I get? I feel like the bartender could've done a better job of letting us know that the kitchen wouldn't be open. Instead, she let us wait for over an hour, then delivered the unprofessional comment to us. Her reply has led me to take further action (professional, that is) towards this business. I'm sure the owner would not appreciate how she treated us. We come to this spot on Wednesday nights to play pool and have fun. This is the 2nd Wednesday that she has refused to cook for us. Needless to say, I am a black woman. And I was playing pool with 5 black men. I felt a great deal of disrespect from the caucasian bartender. However, I will do everything in my power to make sure that this experience is publicized and not happen again. Thank you! Cons: Terrible Customer Service! more
