This is one place you NEVER want to live. Although many of the units have been refurbished, the quality of living here is on the low end. This complex is for low income & it shows. The cops are called here nightly. You will get used to sirens & cops roaming the complex at 3 am to make a bust & you will probably get used to the loud arguments of domestic disturbance & assault. The Lynd Corporation manages the complex & does a very poor job of it. You are on your own if you need any maintenance & the management is usally not in attendance in the leasing office. The building is full of bugs-not just in the apartment units themselves, but in the elevators, stairways, hallways, lobby & community room. The building often has a dirty unkept look to it & often reeks of foul odors due to the lack of sanitation. Graffiti occurs on a nightly basis and breakins are most common in the building. The management has a difficult time in allowing residents to live peacefully in their unit, as management conducts what they call, ""random inspections"". Rent goes up without any notice or warning. Emergency maintenace will not respond until the next business week day-if they respond at all. The owner doesnt communicate with the Lynd management, & Lynd often lies to the police about their tennants. Also, beware that if you do rent here, there is a possibility that the Lynd Managment Corporation will state that you never signed a lease & are in breech of contract-so you will have to keep extra copies of the lease.
