I went on a Thursday night with two of my girlfriends and male friend. One of the promoters, a very posh lady came up to me as soon as I walked up and said that she can let me and my two girls in, but not the guy. She was honest and did what a lot of promoters do at the superficial and popular Hollywood bars, so I'm not holding it against her. She said if I wanted to come in with our male friend, I would have to wait a bit. I've never waited, but we did in solidarity with our male friend...
One of the promoters, Andrew-- some old guy with graying hair who has an I-am- God complex, came over to tantalize us with an entrance allowance. He was very condescending and arrogant... which unfortunately soured my mood considering he was being rude to people who are there to support a club and by that default, support his employment. Anyway, our male friend whispered something in Andrew's ear at which point, Andrew quickly turned his back toward us and stuck out his hand. Our friend then slipped him $100 and the douche opened the rope right away. Once inside, we realized how tiny the place was. There was a semi good-looking crowd inside, but filled with stuck-up, superficial and scantily dressed girls who looked like a 12 year old girl that snuck into mommy's make-up drawer and decided to paint on a new face.
We began dancing and stayed dancing the whole night because the Dj was spinning some good tracks.... Except for the multiple times the pint-sized dance floor was cleared to allow for the go-go dancers to climb into sheets and do acrobatics. If you've ever been to Blvd. 3, you'll know what I'm talking about. So in the middle of dancing, everyone had to stop unannounced and just stare at the dancers-- which admittingly is not the worst thing, but annoying nonetheless. As Dane Cook says, "I just want to dance."
Overall, this place was a disappointment.
Pros: good looking crowd, good music, nice decor
Cons: stuck-up promoters and crowd, small place, parking
