A typical Asian experience in North America 1/30/2008

You must understand the idiosyncricies of an Asian establishment outside Asia. If you are Caucasian and cannot handle being in a foreign setting, you will be put off by the ""poor"" service. If you have never been to an establishment in one of the larger Chinatowns in North America you will not understand the personality of an Asian outside their homeland. For me, this was a bit of a comfort food place even though it is large and a bit institutional feeling. No, the food is not quite what you would get in China. But, it is not what you get on a typical Chinese buffet aimed at people looking for quantity instead of quality. It was decent and you can certainly choose the things you want after being able to see what it looks like. Overall this is a decent experience. Pros: comfort food Cons: too large and institutional feeling more
