I wouldn't consider this place a ""date spot"", but it great for groups of 3-4 or even larger. If you are a party over 6, and dining on the weekend, I'd recommend a reservation. It's not a quiet scene, which is why I would recommend against this as a ""date spot."" However, they do have a menu representative of American Cuisine and the fine art of cooking over man's most primative form of heat. Yum yum if you're a meat-eater. Oh, and if you like salad, my spouse tells me her mixed green / dried cherry / goat cheese salad was delicious.
Pros: Free hard boiled eggs as finger food at the bar, interesting choice!
Cons: Crowded dining hall, is that really a Con?
