The ads say you will ""melt off"" weight. What a load of BS. I feel foolish that I fell for this. First you are ""evaluated"" by a sales person who goes through a script with questions designed to make you feel awful about yourself and ready to hand them the $2,500 the program costs. Then you get some CD's to listen to at home. You also get ""personal"" sessions with ""counselors."" One of them admitted to me that her previous job was selling water filtration systems, nothing to do with counseling. There are also a few classes with info that you probably already knew, such as the startling information that margaritas have lots of calories. \r

When the program doesn't work, the counselors play hardball. You are not trying hard enough. It's your fault. They will tell you the people that ""melted off"" the weight were highly motivated and listened to the tapes an average of five times per day. This probably does work for some people. So does Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Dr. Atkins et al. But do NOT believe the ad claims about how easy this is. There is no way to melt off weight! Don't be fooled.
Cons: It doesn't work
