I came upon this restaurant at the new The Shops at Atlas Park mall. It was very conveniently located on the same floor as the cinemas which makes a great stop for a romantic dinner after a date. From the moment I walked in, the service was great as Alessando made sure to accommodate us. I was totally unaware of the outdoor seating area which as great since the weather was spectacular. With only a few days away from the official start of the Fall season, it was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy a meal. Not to mention that there aren't a lot of places in Queens where you could enjoy a great dinner outdoors. Since I wasn?t very hungry, I decided to go with an appetizer called Cozze Piccanti which consisted of baby mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. I tend to enjoy very spicy food although this sauce went just right with the mussels. I also tried a small bit of Lentil soup which had a great texture that was not too thick or thin. The Bruschettes al pesto were awesome and brought me nostalgic memories of my Summer in Rome...
Overall, great Italian food with very attentive service!
