I have been trying to find a good vet after moving to Sac 3 years ago, so I decided to try la riviera animal hospital based on reviews. Boy was that a bad decision!! My dog had what appeared to be a foxtail in her foot that needed an operation. That all went fine, but after, when I went to get the stitches removed, they left 3 or so in! My dog's foot was not healing and she was chewing and making it worse, so they gave me a liquid steroid to decrease swelling. Well, I've been tending to her foot and trying to wipe it clean with peroxide, etc, and found 3 stitches that they left in which were poking at her foot and causing the problem!!!!In addition to this problem, the people that work there are generally inattentive, it's hard to get any questions in because they rush you so much, and they don't explain things at all. I won't be back!!!!
