Me and my family have been eating (dinning in & carry out) for the last 10 years at least. The food was always delicious and service was always top notch. That is, until recently. Over the last two years, Mon Jin Lau has gone downhill in all areas. The food has lost it's flare and the service has become downright lazy. \r
I ordered carry out a few weeks ago from them. My father enjoys the Almond chicken dish and it's the only thing he ever gets (he's knows what he likes). In the last few orders we have gotten....This dish in partcular has gone downhill. The chicken is dry and over cooked. I tend to be more adventurous and tend to try something different everytime. The last few dishes I've gotten have been very bland and the fish, rather tough and chewy (shrimp and scallops...but more so then normal). Also, in the last few carry out orders, items were forgotten completely, such as spring rolls, sauces, and poor packaging.\r

I used to love Mon Jin Lau,, but I'd rather dine elsewhere, Like Thai Inn on Rochester rd in the north hill plaza, ot for the japanese side of things...Take Sushi across from Rochester High.
Pros: ambience, nice bar
Cons: pricey, o.k. food
