This is a tavern but with white table cloths and a classy atmosphere. Kind of a Houstons type restaraunt with a little more style. Good place before heading to AA Center or the House of Bluse. We had a party of 10 on Saturday night and everyone was very pleased with the food , atmosphere and service. It was a slow night with nothing going on at the AA Center so we had lots of attention from the staff. . Our table was ready when we asked and the waiter was very attentive and eager to make sure our experience was great. The menu offers a great selection from sandwiches to prime rib. The wine list is large but suprising for a tavern the beer list is somewhat small. We ordered each of the apps and all were good. I would pass on the chips with feta cheese , not much to them other than greesy chips. The calamari and quesadillas were great though. I had the baby back ribs and they were incredible. My date had the Fliet and my buddy had the prime rib. Both of them were very happy with the food.\r
The one thing I did notice was that the manager (I think) kept looking at the people in my party to see how we were dressed. Maybe I was imagining it but it seemed he had his nose up in the air a little. Hopefully they dont take on a W Hotel attitude here because this could be a very sucessful restaraunt and after all it is a tavern. Take your date or your buds and give them a try!
