I had my first experience with reflexology treatment ever at Yelo, and I have to say that it was the most truly relaxing and renewing experience I have had. From the moment you step inside Yelo you are lulled by the sweet herbal scent of the purified air, you can almost taste it. Then, after checking in with the very nice, gentile receptionist (a rarity in mid-town NYC) I was escorted to my perch in the YeloCab where I chose to listen to a thunderstorm play softly over the individual sound system. As the reflexologist reclined my chair and draped me with a cashmere blanket, he explained that the seats were set at a precise angle to ease circulation, and I could feel the effects almost instantaneously, it was really neat! The reflexologist went to work on my feet as I sat there and nodded in between napping and awake for the best 30 minute nap I've ever had! Before going in, I was concerned that the treatment would knock me out as it was already early in the evening, but it really did rejuvenate me! This is the perfect thing to perk you up in the middle of a long work week, or motivate you for a long night of Friday night partying. When it was all over, I was brought a nice cup of cold water and the best part, no mental gynmastics about how much to tip, it's all included in the price. Too bad there's only one Yelo for now!
