I read all the reviews on city search about IBIZA before attending a friend's birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. The reviews were so mixed. I didn?t know what to think, but I definitely wanted to keep an open mind. Well let me tell you. The wine list- impressive! Food ? pretty good I guess. Service ? don?t expect too much. Our table of 8 was seated but we sat there for 30 minutes wondering who our waiter was. That was ridiculous. I use to be a waiter, so I know the general rule of thumb, greet your guest within the first minute or two after they have settled in. I asked what the house special was- never got an answer. My friend and I asked for a glass of white wine- instead they mistakenly gave us a bottle. I felt the waiter knew whatever type of service he gave us, he would still get at least his 15% gratituty (since we were a large party). I liked the food (peppercorn tuna was yummy) but I think I could have gotten the same food somewhere else with better service.
