Okay, I was so excited to try the place...it's not really South End - more SoWa, but who's counting. The bar is beautiful and if it had been warmer out, we surely would have tried the patio. Drinks were potent enough that the waitress had to fix them a little, but she was great about it. Waitstaff was great, to the point that you wonder if people have been complaining about the service. The disappointing side of things was that the food was just okay. Our group shared the antipasti as well as two pasta dishes (the rabbit one and the shrimp one) and the stuffed veal entree. Nothing was bad, but nothing left us dying for more; we decided to leave and considered dessert elsewhere. There's hope, but for the prices and portions, there are better places in the area right now.
