After receiving a $25 gift certificate for Goody's, I finally decided to head down to the candy shop and get some chocolate. The place was full of kids and had a nice smell of carmel corn in the air. I picked and chose my chocolate, about 1 1/4th pounds (yes, it's about $20/lb). Upon trying it, I was NOT impressed. It had a stale waxy flavor to it. Not at all in a league with Godiva, or even (dare I say) See's. I will come back to get some popcorn and soda but NEVER again for the chocolate.
Pros: Old fountain shop feel and smell, good location in DT Bend
Cons: Chocolates, stay away
