Going downhill 2/3/2011

We used to love going to Goody's, but the last couple of times we were there? Ugh - not impressed. Their chocolate just doesn't have the same quality it used to. Probably won't be back. more

Best Chocolates and Ice Cream EVER! 9/18/2008

Goody's is a family tradion for us! If you haven't been you must go. Once you have been you will keep going back over and over again. Pros: excellent product and customer service more

Excellent Chocolate 5/18/2008

I received a box of Goody's Chocolates and have never tasted better. The chocolate was very fresh and also had a unique look. My favorite was the dark marionberry cream. It was dark chocolate outside and a marionberry cream inside...delicious. After receiving the box as a gift I visited this last week and tried the chocolate covered potatoe chips...these were excellent. I will be back for more. Employees were very helpful and dfdriendly. more

Best place for an evening treat! 9/25/2007

They have there own ice cream bars they make - amazing! Their chocolates are fabulous - I say, eat your dinner on the town in Bend, take a walk around the beautiful lake close by, and end it with a treat from Goody's. You have yourself a perfect date night! Pros: Chocolate, need I say more? more

GREAT FOR KIDS, SODA FOUNTAIN, AND POPCORN, BUT NOT FOR CHOCOLATE 4/26/2007

After receiving a $25 gift certificate for Goody's, I finally decided to head down to the candy shop and get some chocolate. The place was full of kids and had a nice smell of carmel corn in the air. I picked and chose my chocolate, about 1 1/4th pounds (yes, it's about $20/lb). Upon trying it, I was NOT impressed. It had a stale waxy flavor to it. Not at all in a league with Godiva, or even (dare I say) See's. I will come back to get some popcorn and soda but NEVER again for the chocolate. Pros: Old fountain shop feel and smell, good location in DT Bend Cons: Chocolates, stay away more
