Detour's specialties are its egg frittatas (build your own) and egg sandwiches. My 3-egg frittata with smoked salmon, spinach, herb cream cheese and roasted onions came with rosemary potatoes and cardomom toast on the side. My friend commented that the vegan sausage in her egg sandwich was really good. And, both our meals came to under ten dollars with Stumptown coffee included. On the down side, we had to go to the counter to ask for service, then waited about 40 minutes for our meal (on a Sunday about 11 a.m. to be fair). I'd recommend it if you like eggs for breakfast and don't mind a wait if there's good coffee. Also, the front patio would be a great place to eat on a nice day.
