We had a wonderful time at Fork on a brief overnight trip to Philly. We'd heard the raves, and are usually skeptical--but this restaurant was fantastic! We had a 9:30 reservation, and were expecting it to be dying down, but it was packed straight through to 11:30 when we left! The wine list was extensive, the menu fresh and seasonal, and the waitstaff was accomodating and professional. Everything about fork is thoughtful--right down to the details (all the forks on the table were different designs, ranging from modern to antique). One recommendation: have the bread pudding!!
Pros: the details sprinkled throughout the restaurant
Cons: crowds
