My friend had a surprise bridal shower here in one of their private rooms in the back. The menu we had to choose from for brunch was spectacular -- I had a hard time deciding. B...

Although my husband and I had dinner here awile ago and had a very unpleasant experience, we decided to try it for cocktails on a recent Friday evening, since it won the 2003 edit...

Stick to the bar 4/16/2006

Market Street is big on the weekends for drinking and socializing. If you are going to Fork then it should be for that scene. The food is overpriced and not worth it. I ordered some sides with my meal and they were completely lackluster. I just was overall disappointed and don't recommend spending the time or money here. more

Great food, usually... 1/2/2006

We went to Fork once for the Wine Tasting dinner. This 5 hour event was amazing. The food excellent, the wine as well, and a great value. It really was an unbeatable meal. However, we went back recently for dinner, and it just wasnt the same. The food was good, service good, but not the excellence we had experienced the first time. We will be back, but when we bring guests, it won't be to Fork until we are 100% satisfied again. more

Fork is the star of Market Street 8/31/2005

Kudos to Fork; sometimes innovative chefs prepare food that is just too "out there" for most people to take seriously. Not the case here. The dishes are creative and flavorful, centered around staples like seafood, chicken, and beef. My favorite is the flank steak and frites. Portions aren't tiny. Ambiance is fun and relaxed. There is also a separate menu for a late night menu at the bar. more

Good when splurging on a picnic 8/6/2005

Fork: etc. is the gourmet market and take-out offshoot of the popular Fork Restaurant next door. They sell breads, vinegars, hcharcuterie, produce from local farms, cheeses, spices, chocolates and other dessert items. Everything looks scrumptious, however, there aren't any good picnic spots within a block or two of it (which takes away the fun out of take-out) and prices are a little high, although not higher than what you would pay at chains (like Dean and Deluca). more

  • Fork is a nationally acclaimed New American bistro, in Philadelphia, offering delicious food that is seasonal, fresh and inventive. The menu is printed daily and reflects international influences from around the world. Fork uses only the highest quality ingredients, many of which are supplied by local farmers from throughout the Philadelphia area.

Part of Fork's allure is its hip, stylish, sophisticated interior, where the dining experience is anything but stuffy and uncomfortable.
