I have always loved the food at Cedars, but it is not the place to go if you want a leisurely meal. My boyfriend and I went there for a nice dinner on a Monday night and we were rushed out of there. They literally started breaking down tables (taking them apart and moving them out of the room) while there were still diners in the restaurant. As plates got emptier, there were waiters trying to take them away. They always asked first, but the constant interuption was annoying. We weren't the only diners in the restaurant and it wasn't that late, probably around 10pm. As always the food was wonderful.\r

I have always thought it was weird the way the wait staff hovers to fill water glasses and chai--almost every time you take a drink--and they wipe the table after they clear the plates. I can't decide if I dislike this more than not having enough service.
Pros: Great food, good atmosphere
Cons: Overly attentive waitstaff
