I'll admit that I'm an East Coaster who always complains about the lack of decent pizza in Seattle and even after two visits to this place I am still complaining...but I love Serious Pie! It's more of an artisan flatbread than a pizza but it's still fantastic. The crust is thin and the toppings are inventive but not scary. The traditional tomato and basil pie is great but the specials are really outstanding. I would never consider some of the toppings to be acceptable pizza toppings but Tom Douglas makes them work together and they are delicious. The house Chianti is great, too. On my first visit, everything was perfect. On the second, they were out of the house Chianti, the salad was way too salty and the waitress terrible - boring and unapologetic, not to mention uninformed about the menu. The pizza was so good that I will give it another try, though.
Pros: Great pie
Cons: Inconsistent service, crowded, loud
