I moved here from Atlanta and so I am new to the Dallas area and everytime I go out the places just don't live up to the hype. Obar has potential and I think a Friday night would be better. I went to Obar on a Thursday for the Martinis and Manicures and stayed to watch Grey's Anatomy. It was my first time at Obar and the club's atmosphere and decor was as luxurious as the website and my co-workers boasted. It was pretty early in the evening after work so there weren't many people there but it was relaxing. The drinks are delicious and worth the $12. The bartender, however, was a little rude and semed more interested in his laptop (that he had setup at the end of the bar) and seemed a little perturbed that he actually had to stop what he was doing to uh... work.
Besides the bartender that had male PMS it is worth a another try
