Before anything I should say I'm Japanese American so when it comes to 'my food' I am extremely picky. That said, I gotta say this place really impressed me. I've been to many, MANY Japanese restaurants in my lifetime and the seafood here is just as fresh if not fresher than restaurants that charge five times as much. The sashimi was superb, their specialty rolls were creative and thoughtfully prepared and their sake selection was almost overwhelming. The location is a bit off the beaten path but that actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I'm not particularly fond of elbow to elbow dining with strangers so it turned out to be a perfect place to catch up with some friends. The atmosphere had sort of a 'loungey' feel to it...dim lights, Sade playing in the background...I would definitely bring a date here. Overall had a great experience and I'd HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! Stop searching and GO!
